Katie Grilli

Yoga, Meditation

Katie is a Philadelphia resident is passionate about intertwining her professional work with her yoga practice.  Her day job is serving young women and families in the Philadelphia area as a therapist.  After grad school, yoga became a way for her to decompress after work and see her best friend in Center City.  Katie never imagined that yoga would turn into the passion it has, but after experiencing numerous benefits from physical to mental, emotional, and spiritual, she was determined to learn more to pass along these benefits to her therapy clients.  After two previous trips to India to volunteer with the nonprofit Speak 4 Silent Voices, Katie decided India was the only place to study to become a yoga teacher.  She completed her 200 hour teacher (RYT200) training at Vinyasa Yoga School in Rishikesh, India in November 2019.  She is passionate about bringing awareness to the breath in her classes as well as utilizing meditation to still our ever wandering minds.

Outside of the studio and office, Katie loves to spend time with family and friends, read, cook, and play with her dog, Willie.  Her three favorite places on earth are Cape Cod, India, and Florence.  She loves to play around with her camera in all these places and capture the memories.
